1. Limited license
Subject to these terms and the applicable app-store terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use FLOOR 13 for personal entertainment on compatible devices you control.
You do not acquire ownership of FLOOR 13, its source code, artwork, music, characters, narrative, branding, or other intellectual property by downloading or using the game.
2. Platform and store terms
If you obtain FLOOR 13 through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or another authorized distributor, that platform's terms may also apply to installation, payment, refunds, family sharing, device limits, updates, and account access. Where mandatory platform terms conflict with these terms, the mandatory platform terms control to the extent required.
3. Horror content and suitability
FLOOR 13 is a psychological horror game. It contains sustained fear and tension, dark environments, uncanny human-like figures, and startling audio or visual events. You are responsible for deciding whether that content is appropriate for you and for using available device and game settings in a way that suits your needs.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the game for ordinary personal gameplay and lawful capture, streaming, commentary, criticism, or review consistent with applicable law and platform rules.
You may not use the game or website to violate law, interfere with security or distribution systems, impersonate the developer, distribute malicious or misleading modified builds, remove ownership notices for deceptive redistribution, or exploit the software in a way that harms other users, services, or infrastructure.
Restrictions on reverse engineering, decompilation, or circumvention apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms overrides rights that the law expressly grants you.
5. Saves and local data
The current release stores campaign progress and settings locally. Local data can be lost through device failure, operating-system changes, app-data clearing, uninstalling, or circumstances outside our control. Keep appropriate device backups where supported. We do not promise cloud recovery for v0.19.0.
6. Updates and changes
We may release patches, compatibility changes, content updates, or new versions. Future versions may change features, platform support, technical requirements, online functionality, or these terms. We may stop supporting obsolete versions where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, or product maintenance.
7. Third-party technology
FLOOR 13 uses third-party software and platform technology. Those components may be subject to their own licenses and terms. Google Play, Apple, device operating systems, and hosting providers are independent services and are not controlled by FLOOR 13.
8. Intellectual property
FLOOR 13's original game code, creative presentation, narrative, visual identity, and associated branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party components remain the property of their respective rights holders.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FLOOR 13 and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation on every hardware, operating-system version, or future platform configuration.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss arising solely from use of the game or website. Any limitation applies only where legally enforceable and does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Termination
Your license to use the game may end if you materially breach these terms, subject to applicable consumer law and store rules. You may stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future releases, legal requirements, or material service changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the currently published version.
