Troubleshooting for FLOOR 13 v0.19.0. The current release is an offline-first single-player game with local saves.

Quick fixesSavesPerformanceControlsAudioReport a bugDelete data
Current release: v0.19.0 (Android build 29). If you report a problem, include your platform, device model, OS version, game version, floor, and what happened immediately before the issue.

Quick fixes

Game will not launch

Restart the device, verify the store installation finished, and install any pending OS updates. Avoid modified or unofficial APKs.

Continue is not available

Continue requires a valid local campaign save. If app data was cleared or the game was reinstalled without a platform backup, the local save may no longer exist.

Interaction seems stuck

Step away from the object, re-center the camera, and approach again. If the issue persists after returning to the title screen, record the floor and interaction name for a bug report.

Display is too dark

Check device brightness, disable extreme battery-saving display modes, and verify the game's visual settings. FLOOR 13 intentionally uses dark environments, but critical interactions should remain readable.

Local saves and progress

Campaign progress and settings are stored locally on the device. v0.19.0 does not promise a FLOOR 13 cloud-save account. Clearing app data or uninstalling the game can remove progress, subject to any independent backup provided by your device or app store.

If you are switching from a development or test build signed with a different certificate to the store build, Android may require uninstalling the older build before installing the store-distributed version. Treat the old local save as potentially non-transferable unless you have an explicit backup.

Performance and heat

  • Close unusually heavy background apps before a long session.
  • Use your device's standard performance mode rather than aggressive battery restriction where possible.
  • Allow the device to cool if sustained heat causes frame-rate throttling.
  • Report persistent frame-rate drops with the floor name and device model.

Controls and comfort

FLOOR 13 is built around mobile touch input. Current settings include adjustable look sensitivity and motion-reduction options. See Accessibility & comfort for the currently documented options.

Audio and subtitles

Check both system media volume and in-game settings. Subtitles can be enabled from Settings. If an important story beat appears missing with subtitles disabled, report the exact floor and moment so it can be investigated against the release build.

Delete local data

Because v0.19.0 does not use a production FLOOR 13 account backend, there is no server-side player account to delete. To remove local game data, use your device's app-storage controls to clear FLOOR 13 data or uninstall the game. This removes local saves subject to platform backup behavior outside our control.

Contact and store support

For purchase, download, refund, or store-account issues, use the support channels provided by Google Play or Apple. For FLOOR 13 gameplay, privacy, or technical questions, use the developer contact on the official store listing.
